About me
I am an indie game developer and creating games is my hobby. Currently as a freshman at USC Games, I aspire to become a AAA game developer someday. Growing up, my favorite game was Minecraft and I was involved in a few user-led server developments. I was a minecraft builder and that’s why I am fond of pixel arts. Dawngeon is one the biggest project that I published back in 2022 and now I am currently working on Overdawn, the sequel project to Dawngeon.
My First Published Game
Dawngeon
Dawngeon is pixel rogue-like role playing game (RPG) that I originally developed for the Appstore. I wanted to build a fun 2D roguelike adventure with emphasis in replayability and storytelling that you can play wherever you want, even without wifi. This was my first time creating a mobile game, and I learned to use XCode, experienced App publishing, and received numerous user feedback and support.
21M Impressions (Appstore)
110K+ Downloads globally (Appstore)
4.6 User Rating (Appstore US)
The game also entered the Appstore Adventure Chart placing at 130th on March 3, 2022.
Listening to User Feedback
Dawngeon 1.4 and1.5
Recieving feedback from the community I built, I updated the game several times.
Dawngeon 1.4 and 1.5 adds new characters, enemies, game mode, and major convenient features. It also stabilizes and upgrades the arcade gameplay.

Cyberknome
CyberKnome is a game by Mid Pacific Game Studio Club that I lead. Cyberknome is a 2D adventure game that explores the land of Weinberg. As a cyborg gnome your goal is to defeat the aliens and uncover the mystery behind the alien invasion.
With this very first collaboration project, I taught other students on game design, pixel art, sound design, Unity, and C#. Leading a team is never easy, but I learned many valuable team management skill that I applied to the current Game Studio Club structure.

Lightning Round Game - NHSGA’23 @CMU
PillowKO
This game is from NHSGA'23 lightning round by Youngje Park, Ryan Cheng, Monet Rosenberg, Evan Cheng, and Ketan Chatter-Jee. We recreated Punch Out in roughly 6 days.
Collaborating in this project, I was thankful to work with other talented artists and programmers as I enjoyed a lot ‘crunching‘ for the deadline.
As a part of NHSGA program, we rethemed the Punch Out into a pillow fight game, pitched our ideas, developed from scratch to finish, and published the game in only a week.

Eternal Theatre
“Trapped in a theater, you break free of your strings and try to escape. Use your detachable limbs to navigate through the play, defeat other puppets, and find your way to freedom...or be forced to confront the puppet master herself.”
Eternal Theatre is a game my team developed as a part of NHSGA’s original game round. The game is based on Ragdoll movements which presented many stressful but funny moments while developing it. As a team, we pitched the game idea and presented to the professor, other teams, and parents.
This was one of the most stressful team project so far. However, we managed to not only finish the game but also received the award for impressive implementation from the NHSGA program.

One Screen Duel
“Why do we just play games when we can create games?” We realized.
During the NHSGA program, my friends and I decided to do a little fun challenge: to develop and publish a mobile game from scratch. From the very first day of the program to throughout the program, we developed One Screen Duel during our free time. One Screen Duel is a mobile arcade game that two players battle on a single device. We developed the idea from pong and combined it with Arkanoid.

Sir. Finn Dolphin
Role reversal. That was the theme for this competition. Within less than two days, my friends and I created a game from scratch based on the theme. We landed on this idea of a dolphin riding a surf board. This was the most intense game jam I ever participated in and was impressed and learned a lot about game jamming from my NHSGA friends.
